Target Audience

Statement of Need/Program Overview 
The Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress - Americas (AMWC Americas) conference addresses the science, practice and techniques of aesthetic surgery and medicine. With a faculty featuring the foremost researchers, educators and practitioners, this event will provide cutting-edge content to advance knowledge, enhance skills and techniques, and improve outcomes in the areas of aesthetic medicine, cosmetic surgery, and anti-aging. AMWC Americas will feature dynamic lectures, in-depth treatment and technique demonstrations, and real-world patient cases delivered by prominent experts at the forefront of the industry.

Educational Objectives 
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

  • Recall advanced techniques to inject neurotoxins and dermal filler products
  • Compare currently available injectable products
  • Identify proper injection techniques that have demonstrated safe and satisfactory patient outcomes to  minimize complications.
  • Outline proven combinations of injectables for facial rejuvenation.
  • Review facial anatomy and associated structures for non- and minimally invasive facial rejuvenation
  • List minimally invasive therapies for hair restoration and hair loss
  • Discuss the role that hormones play in anti-aging medicine.
  • Explain special considerations when treating skin of color.
  • Recall lip anatomy and fundamental lip injection techniques.
  • List proven facial regenerative aesthetics solutions for a wide range of patient groups
  • Identify important anatomy related to periocular injections.
  • Review Energy-based treatment protocols
  • List appropriate approaches to genital rejuvenation
  • Identify tools and techniques to treat each aspect of anatomy affected by skin aging.
  • Discuss the role of anti-aging and longevity in aesthetic medicine.
  • Examine the effects of nutrition on anti-aging and aesthetic outcomes.

Instructions for Obtaining AMWC Americas Credit
In order to receive credit, participants must attend the meeting, and score at least a 70% on the posttest and submit it, along with the credit application and evaluation. A link to complete the posttest and evaluation will be emailed to participants following the completion of the meetings.
